Nov 2, 2015- After Birgunj border point was obstructed, other entry points connecting Nepal to India have also been blocked. Crossings to and from Jogbani area has been stoppeded by Indian Security Force SSB citing the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to border area. Two border points of western Nepal, Rupaidiya- Nepalgunj and Sunauli-Bhairahawa are also blocked. Around noon, Sunauli- Bhairahawa’s Behahiya route was blocked immediately after Rupaidiya border point got blocked. Indian Seema Suraksha Bal (SSB) stopped goods movement citing ‘orders from above’.
